Festival "February Musical Evenings" finishes in Pinsk

 A concert of the vocal ensemble "Kamerata" from Minsk on Febraury 28 will finish the traditional festival of ancient and contemporary music "February musical evenings". For three weeks beautiful classic music executed by people's artist of Belarus Igor Alovnikov, diploma-winner of international contests Yekaterina Kafanova, chamber choir "Poklich" and others sounded in the concert hall of the catholic church of Karl Baromei.
The present festival is held for the seventh time. In general, music lovers of Pinsk could attend 470 concerts that were performed in the church's concert hall. The town itself is becoming one of the leading musical centers of the republic. Apart from the festival "February musical evenings" there were held international festivals of guitar players twice, and the international dancing festival "Polesie round dance" several times. (BELTA)
