Factory workers in Pruzhany move to oust director

 Workers at a state-run radio component factory in the town of Pruzhany, Brest region, have demanded the dismissal of their director, Ruslan Fedichev. The workers are tired of the management delaying their pay, BelaPAN has been told by Georgy Antonyuk, local leader of the Union of Electronic Workers. On top of that, Mr.Antonyuk said, the factory runs a huge debt for heat, has lost 20 million rubels in two months and is being deserted by skilled workers. An economy ministry official visited the factory last week. He met with the workers and the management, as well as with local executive officials. Apparently, the ministry is now deciding whether Mr. Fedichev is fit for his job.
